Celment Console

Christian Lyon, an Australian designer, was inspired by Clement Meadmore, one of the most famous sculptors of the 20th century, to create this console table. It can be placed not only against a wall, but also in the center of a room.

Meadmore's sculptures are characterized by beautifully curved lines, exquisitely balanced compositions, and simple, geometric forms. With this console table, Lyon expresses the power and beauty of form. The beautiful grain of the Paulownia wood, which has been embossed, appears to flow over the surface of the curved shape. The mirror-finished black enamel on the sides reflects light, creating a concave cross-section that is very fantastical.
